Room at the Inn

Room in the Inn assists many people with resolving issues related to homelessness. We provide transportation to and from the shelter to our Church, serve a nutritious meal, provide fellowship, and supply a bed for the night. Currently, we are serving these folks from November through March. Visit www.roomintheinn.org

Christmas Baskets

Graceworks screens and provides St. Andrew with a list of recipients to receive Christmas Baskets with food and personal items. Volunteers are needed to pack the baskets and deliver them prior to Christmas. 

ELCA World Hunger

The first Sunday of every month, St. Andrew highlights the ministry of the ELCA World Hunger Appeal and Disaster Relief. Giving to the World Hunger Appeal is not new to our congregation. We participate in this appeal through the offerings collected during Sunday School for God’s Global Barnyard and with contributions received at worship. Animal Welfare Ministry

This ministry helps homeless pets, rescue agencies, and organiztions dedicated to helping animals and educating people. Donations and gifts of food, treats, bedding, toys, collars, leashes, and cleaning supplies help area agencies respond to immediate needs.

Lutheran Services in Tennessee

LSTFollowing the call of Jesus, Lutheran Services in Tennessee extends the outreach of congregations by serving the poor, welcoming the newcomer, and responding to disaster.  Individuals and families in our communities struggle daily with the challenges of living in poverty.  Lutheran Services in Tennessee equips, serves, and walks with our neighbors in need through these programs: Healthy Gardens, MyCanvas, and Building Healthy Families.  

WELCA

Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. All women of St. Andrew are cordially invited to attend monthly meetings for guest speakers, Bible study, service projects and fellowship. Regular meetings are scheduled on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. unless otherwise announced. Watch the monthly newsletter for more information. 

Navigators

Our Men’s group at St. Andrew. All men of the congregation are cordially invited to meet for breakfast at the church on the first Saturday of each month at 7:30 a.m. Devotions, fellowship and a variety of work projects both on and off the church premises keep these men busy. 

Graceworks

Graceworks is an ecumenical organization that provides assistance to families in Williamson County. The primary focus is to provide physical, emotional, spiritual, material and referral services to those in need. Graceworks operates a thrift store that is open to the public, selling clothing, furniture, and other household items at greatly reduced prices. and stock donated items and assist in any needed area of this ministry. St. Andrew volunteers contribute their time and talents on the fourth Saturday of every month to help sort and stock donated items, and assist in any needed area of this Ministry. Several volunteers pick up bread and other items from local grocery stores to supply the Graceworks store. For more information about Graceworks, visit www.graceworksministries.net

Meal on Wheels

St. Andrew assists the First United Methodist Church of Franklin by providing delivery drivers Monday, Wednesday and Friday during the second week of the month. We deliver hot meals to the elderly and those who need this assistance. Contact Kirk Rutter at kirkrutter@comcast.net or office@saintandrewchurch.com if you are interested in participating. 

Saint Paul's Breakfast Ministry

Members of St. Andrew provide breakfast at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Nashville for the Family Life Center, part of the Nashville Rescue Mission. On the first Sunday of every month, our volunteers serve 100 to 150+ women and children with a nutritious breakfast of pancakes, sausage, cereal and fresh fruit in a secure environment. 

My Friend's House

My Friend's House assists young people in their effort to re-establish meaning and purpose in their life. Gifts from St. Andrew help to provide a safe, structured, nurturing, and loving home for the boys of My Friend’s House. www.myfriendshousetn.org
