Children’s Ministry

Children’s Ministry at Saint Andrew

Saint Andrew has many opportunities for children to be involved in the total life and ministry of the church through Sunday morning worship, Sunday school, fellowship and special event programs, milestone activities and more!

Looking for a church community to belong to? A safe place for your children to learn and grow in faith and be part of a group? At Saint Andrew, we prioritize making spaces for children to connect and come have fun just as they are.

Sunday School

(for Youth & Children)

Volunteers are always welcome! At Saint Andrew all volunteers 18+ are required to have a background check done through the church. We practice the policies of two deep leadership principles with all volunteers working with children and youth at Saint Andrew.

Every week, with the exception of certain holidays, we host Sunday school for students of all ages. We’d love for your student to be involved. Programing and curriculum is designed to help further the education of students of the stories that make up the Gospel filled with interactive learning activities and conversations.

Sunday school meets each Sunday for children, youth and adults between worship services from 9:50 – 10:50am.

Children’s Sunday school opening begins in the Fellowship Hall at 9:45 – 10:10am. Youth are welcome to volunteer and assist with Sunday school opening.

Sunday school class grouping:

  • PreK – 1st grade
  • 2nd, 3rd, 4th grade
  • 5th & 6th grade
  • 7th & 8th grade (this is is our confirmation class)
  • 9th – 12th grade

This is a two-year rotation curriculum. After completing the rotation, youth in the 9th grade are confirmed on Reformation Sunday at the end of October.

Sunday school typically follows the school calendar, with breaks or large group Sunday school on holiday weekends.

Sunday school for 2025-2026 will officially begin with Rally Sunday on September 7th, 2025.
